Handmade in Ireland with fine Merino wool & open weave silk, this luxurious blue and green scalloped edge scarf has been artisan hand painted with colourfast dyes. Made using a felting technique called Nuno Felting, which combines the wool and silk into one piece, each scarf is unique.
This scarf is warm yet breathable and soft to the touch. Designed with a scalloped edge in a beautiful blue and green color resembling the water and land on the coastline of the West coast of Ireland. This scarf comes with a beautiful matching silk flower brooch.
Designed by artist Jayne Gillan who lives on the Slieve Mish mountains on the Dingle Peninsula. Gillan takes inspiration from the beautiful landscapes that surround her and bring the colors and textures into each piece.
